ROSEMONT, IL. -- Wilo USA is welcoming two new leaders in its marketing and sales offices.

Tim Stapula has been tapped as Wilo's new director of marketing. Stapula will oversee the strategy and management of Wilo's marketing program, including the direction of content creation, social media management, ad campaigns and news releases. According to a Wilo release, Stapula previously worked as a marketing manager for a major precision tooling company.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Atlas Copco this month opened a new European headquarters for its rental business.

The Boom, Belgium facility will house 80 employees to support a network of 50 depots and customers in Europe.

It will also be the new headquarters for the Specialty Rental division in Atlas Copco’s Construction Technique business area.

RYE BROOK, New York -- The Halo Awards, one of North America's highest honors for corporate social initiative, have awarded Xylem Inc. with its Gold Halo Award for their employee engagement.

HELSINKI, Finland -- Wärtsilä has established an internal organization of more than 400 existing employees to drive transformation at the company.

After hiring Marco Ryan as chief digital officer (CDO) and executive vice president in September 2016, Wärtsilä began recruiting a digital leadership team to focus on future technology such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, open platforms and cyber security.

ZURICH, Switzerland -- ABB last week officially opened its new Canada headquarters, which will consolidate 700 employees in a $90 million Montreal facility.

ABB has dubbed the headquarters "Campus Montreal", which will house R&D, manufacturing, assembly and testing for ABB's energy value chain. The facility will also house the hundreds of employees previously spread across six locations in the area.
