PHOENIX (July 23, 2014) – DXP/Quadna hired Tony J. Peterson as business development representative for its newly formed safety services division in Phoenix, Arizona.

Prior to joining DXP, Peterson was in the sales and marketing profession for several strong companies in the Valley of the Sun. His primary focus for the past several years has been in the safety industry, where he has helped employers stay compliant and their workforces safe.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (July 21, 2014) – In another step forward for the Alaska LNG project, an application to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) was submitted to the U.S. Department of Energy.

The export application requests authorization to export up to 20 million metric tons per year of LNG for 30 years to countries that have existing free trade agreements with the U.S., as well as to non-free trade agreement countries.

HOUSTON (July 21, 2014) – ValvTechnologies Inc. named Tom Singh as vice president, supply chain operations, announced company President Kevin Hunt.

Based in Houston, Singh will have executive responsibility for ValvTechnologies’ global sourcing, purchasing, planning, materials management, project management and logistics groups. His appointment serves to integrate the value stream between the sales order and the factory so that ValvTechnologies can better serve its customers.
