HELSINKI, Finland – Outokumpu and Grundfos are kicking off a new collaboration on green steel. The vast majority of Grundfos’ standard material supplied by Outokumpu will be changed into Outokumpu Circle Green, stainless steel with up to 93% lower carbon footprint compared to the global industry average. Already this year, approximately 90% of the stainless steel used in Grundfos’ production— used for the company’s energy-efficient and water-saving pump solutions—will be Circle Green.
