MINNEAPOLIS – Kurita America, part of the Kurita Group, has announced the appointment of Todd Emslander as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective April 1, 2025. This announcement aligns with the planned retirement of his predecessor, Greg Becker, a 40-year veteran of the water treatment industry who has guided the company through significant change and growth.

CHICAGO – Komatsu America Corp. has announced that Rod Schrader will step down from his chairman and CEO roles on March 31, and will fully retire effective June 30, 2025. Rod Bull will become CEO of Komatsu North America Corp. effective April 1. Bull currently serves as executive vice president of Komatsu’s North America region. He brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience in the heavy equipment manufacturing industry, including 14 years with Komatsu. 

PALM BAY, Fla. – Governor Ron DeSantis has announced more than $389 million in grants to improve water quality and quantity across Florida. The funding includes $189 million in Water Quality Improvement Grants and $55 million in Alternative Water Supply Grants.

AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin City Council has approved contracts to complete design and construct significant enhancements and expansion of the Walnut Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, totaling over $1 billion.
