WILMINGTON, Mass. (Sept. 9, 2014) – Koch Membrane Systems (KMS), a developer and manufacturer of innovative membranes and membrane filtration systems, announced that it has been selected to provide PURON membrane bioreactor (MBR) modules for the upgrade of a wastewater treatment plant at a refinery in Russia. The system is designed for an average flow of 24,000 cubic meters per day (m3/d) (6.3M GPD), with peaks of up to 28,800 m³/d (7.6M GPD). Startup is scheduled for 2015.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Sept. 8, 2014) – The Hydraulic Institute (HI), one of the nation’s largest pump manufacturing trade associations, has announced two significant personnel changes.

Gregg Romanyshyn, HI technical director, who has led the Institute’s extensive standards and guideline-writing organization since December 1999, has announced his retirement, effective April 30, 2015.

BALTIMORE (Sept. 8, 2014) – Danfoss, a manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls for air conditioning, heating, refrigeration and motion control systems, announced that John Galyen, president of Danfoss North America, will address energy productivity at Energy 2030 On the Road, Sept. 29 in New York City.

BATAVIA, N.Y. (Sept. 4, 2014) – Graham Corporation announced that it has secured four new orders totaling approximately $7.5 million for oil refining and chemical industry projects.

Graham, which has significant market share in China for distillation column vacuum systems for oil refineries, will engineer and manufacture an ejector system for a new oil refinery currently under construction in China. The ejector system is scheduled for shipment in approximately
12 months.
