(Jan. 29, 2013) – The Hydraulic Institute, leading the efforts of the pump industry in North America to address the U.S. DOE pump efficiency rule-making, announced to its members the availability of the long-anticipated DOE “Framework” document from the United States Department of Energy on a pump efficiency rule-making. PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Jan. 21, 2013) – Hydraulic Institute (HI) has introduced CD Version 3.1, its latest offering of ANSI/HI Standards presented in CD format. An update of an earlier CD offering, the new release is “state of the art” and contains a full set of all 31 current standards on one convenient-to-use and easily portable CD. The cost is $1,200 and represents significant savings over purchasing standards individually.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Jan. 18, 2013) – The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has published ANSI/HI 9.6.1–2012 Rotodynamic Pumps Guideline for NPSH Margin. The new guideline serves as a replacement for the 1998 edition, which was later withdrawn completely in 2003.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Jan. 17, 2013) – The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has updated the 1998 edition of the ANSI/HI standard on pump intake design and published ANSI/HI 9.8–2012 Rotodynamic Pumps for Pump Intake Design.
