(April 26, 2013) – The Hydraulic Institute (HI), under the approval of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), is seeking qualified individuals in North America to participate in the review process for the draft of updated Standard ANSI/HI 2.1-2.2 Rotodynamic (Vertical) Pumps of Radial, Mixed and Axial Flow Types for Nomenclature and Definitions.

(April 4, 2013) – The Hydraulic Institute (HI), the global authority on pumps and pumping systems, announced the 2013 Board of Directors and Officers during its Annual Meeting recently held in Fort Myers, Fla. The new Board will be primarily responsible for providing organizational oversight to the Institute and guiding the direction of its strategic plan.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Jan. 21, 2013) – Hydraulic Institute (HI) has introduced CD Version 3.1, its latest offering of ANSI/HI Standards presented in CD format. An update of an earlier CD offering, the new release is “state of the art” and contains a full set of all 31 current standards on one convenient-to-use and easily portable CD. The cost is $1,200 and represents significant savings over purchasing standards individually.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Jan. 18, 2013) – The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has published ANSI/HI 9.6.1–2012 Rotodynamic Pumps Guideline for NPSH Margin. The new guideline serves as a replacement for the 1998 edition, which was later withdrawn completely in 2003.

Parsippany, NJ (July 11, 2012) – The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has updated the 2001 edition of the ANSI/HI standard on submersible pump tests and published ANSI/HI 11.6 – 2012 Rotodynamic Submersible Pumps for Hydraulic Performance, Hydrostatic Pressure, Mechanical, and Electrical Acceptance Tests. The updated standard applies to customer acceptance testing of submersible pumps driven by induction motors, unless otherwise agreed or specified.
