Neptuno Pumps Delivers Pumps for BHP Billiton’s Minera Escondida Flagship Project in Chile

IQUIQUE, Chile (Sept. 24, 2014) – The Chilean pump manufacturer Neptuno Pumps delivered five 1,700 horsepower (HP) and five 700 HP vertical turbine pumps for BHP Billiton’s Minera Escondida Oxide Leach Area Project (OLAP) in northern Chile.

“These highly engineered pumps were completely manufactured in 254 SMO due to its highly corrosive application, and we are proud to have completed this project with the lowest delivery times in the market: six months,” said Petar Ostojic, project & product manager at Neptuno Pumps.
