MARSHFIELD, Wis. (May 4, 2015) – ESE, Inc., a control system integration company providing design and development of plant automation systems for the food and beverage industry, has named Cory Nelson as a company Solution Sales manager.

Nelson has spent more than two decades working in Applications Engineering, Business Development, Technical Sales and Account Management. ESE President and Chief Executive Officer Tom Walther says the addition of Nelson further enhances the company’s commitment to customer service. ESE recently appointed Michael Richart as Director of Business Operations.

“Cory is an important part of the ESE sales team,” Walther said. “His extensive engineering background in development and applications means he not only can speak our customers’ language, but in many instances he has also been in their shoes. That unique perspective will benefit everyone he serves and help them grow their business.”

Before joining ESE, Nelson spent the past 18 years in various roles at ixmation, Inc. (formerly Cox Automation Systems), and has worked within the medical device, automotive, consumer, electronics and solar industries.

Nelson has experience with custom assembly machine development, manufacturing systems, instrumentation, robotics and processes, which all utilize various forms of PLC, PC and HMI devices for the controls architecture. He has a degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois.

Walther adds, “Cory’s diverse background and his proven ability to provide turnkey solutions will allow him to better assist ESE customers in meeting their goals, budgets, and schedules.”
