MACEDONIA, Ohio (May 24, 2016) — TPC Wire & Cable Corp., a supplier of wire, cable, connectors and assemblies for harsh industrial environments, announced an agreement with Broland of Seoul, South Korea, to operate as TPC’s exclusive distributor in Korea.

The relationship supports TPC’s decade-long, global approach to business and is aligned with the company’s strategy to expand its international presence through strategic partnerships, according to a press release. The newest branch of operations is expected to generate sales growth in Korea and throughout Northeast Asia.

“We’re delighted to formalize our relationship with Broland,” TPC Wire & Cable Corp. CEO Jeff Crane said. “Broland is the right partner to help us extend the TPC brand into Northeast Asia and to better serve our steel and automotive customers there.”

TPC currently serves customers in 17 countries outside the United States including Canada, Mexico, Chile, Zambia, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, China and elsewhere. TPC partners with in-country distributors to market the value of its products and serve local customers. In 2015, TPC acquired Enersave Wire & Cable, its distributing partner in Mexico City now operating as TPC Wire & Cable Mexico.

TPC’s products are designed and engineered to withstand severe abuse from flexing, impact, abrasion, chemicals and extreme temperatures. The company serves a wide range of industries including the steel, automotive, utility, mining, transportation, food and beverage, oil and gas, and wood, pulp and paper markets.
