HOUSTON, Texas (June 28, 2016) – ValvTechnologies Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacturing of zero-leakage severe service isolation valve solutions, announces its membership acceptance in the Valve Repair Council (VRC).

The VRC is an affiliate of the Valve Manufacturers Association (VMA). Member companies service, repair and rebuild valves and actuators and adhere to with the written quality control procedures appropriate to the markets served and acceptable to VRC which focus specifically on high-standards of quality, safety and service.

The VRC was formed in 1989 as the VMA saw a need to promote safety and quality in valve and actuator repair. As a result, the service operations of VMA members banded together to create the VRC: Membership is open only to VMA member organizations with in-house service operations or out-of-plant service facilities, as well as their authorized independent facilities.

The Valve Repair Council is a great opportunity for ValvTechnologies to be part of the bigger picture. As we continue to move forward and grow,” said Oliver Perez, director of global service. “It allows us to share ideas, gain knowledge and give input with industry leaders that share common challenges.”
