STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Atlas Copco this month opened a new European headquarters for its rental business.

The Boom, Belgium facility will house 80 employees to support a network of 50 depots and customers in Europe.

It will also be the new headquarters for the Specialty Rental division in Atlas Copco’s Construction Technique business area.

“This modern facility will further strengthen our position in Europe as a total solutions provider of temporary air, power, steam and nitrogen solutions to manufacturing, oil and gas, power and mining customers,” Andrew Walker, business area president of Construction Technique, said in a release.
