HOUSTON – FutureOn has appointed Stig Wølstad-Knudsen as CEO. The appointment strengthens FutureOn’s leadership team and reputation as a trusted technology partner for the energy sector while positioning for international growth.
Wølstad-Knudsen joins FutureOn from industrial software company Kongsberg Digital, where he held the role of VP products. His previous experience includes senior positions at Weatherford and Halliburton. With an extensive background in real-time operations and development of technology for the energy sector, Wølstad-Knudsen will focus on facilitating global opportunities for FutureOn’s innovative digital design and decision-making platform, FieldTwin.
FutureOn has also appointed Rodrigo Ferraz to the newly created role of head of market development Latin America. A business consultant specializing in the digital transformation of companies in the energy sector, Ferraz has been FutureOn’s local agent in Brazil for the past three years and will focus on growing FutureOn’s presence in the region.
