HOUSTON - EagleBurgmann has named Kai Ziegler its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Michael Stomberg, currently chief operating officer (COO) of EagleBurgmann, will leave Freudenberg at his own request after twelve years of successful service to take up the position of CEO at a publicly listed company in Bavaria.

HOUSTON (June 17, 2014) – Pure terephthalic acid (PTA) is a pre-product of polyester that is used in great amounts to manufacture textiles and PET bottles. The increasing need for PTA has demanded even greater capacities. For a major project, EagleBurgmann delivered what is currently the largest agitator seal, with a 19-inch shaft size (480mm), for use in a new PTA plant in China.
(Jan 1, 2013) – Michael Stomberg (42), the previous Senior Vice President and Head of Division Mechanical Seals, became the successor to Dr. Walter Steinbach who retired from the company on December 31, 2012. Michael Stomberg (COO) is now one of three General Managers and a member of the EagleBurgmann Executive Board (TMT).
HOUSTON (March 27, 2012) — John Quigley will be joining EagleBurgmann as the new Territory Manager in the Philadelphia area. Quigley brings to EagleBurgmann a significant amount of mechanical seal experience having worked for two of our major competitors. He has more than twenty years of sales and management experience in our industry.
