KYOTO, Japan (June 22, 2015) – Nidec Corporation has announced that it has launched a joint development of a big data analysis technology together with IBM Japan with the main purpose of “improving production ratio via early detection of problems” and “shortening downtime via better factor analysis efficiency” for various production equipment and machinery equipped with the Nidec Group's motors.

KYOTO, Japan (Feb. 2, 2015) – Nidec Corporation has completed the acquisition of all of the shares in Gerate- und Pumpenbau GmbH Dr. Eugen Schmidt ("GPM") from its shareholders, through its subsidiary, Nidec Motors & Actuators (Germany) GmbH (NMA(G)), on Feb. 2, 2015. As a result of the transaction, GPM became a consolidated subsidiary of Nidec. The new subsidiaries are listed below.

KYOTO, Japan (Dec. 11, 2014) – Nidec Corporation has announced that it has agreed to acquire 100 percent of the shares of Gerate- und Pumpenbau GmbH Dr. Eugen Schmidt (GPM) from its shareholders through Nidec’s subsidiary, Nidec Motors & Actuators (Germany) GmbH (NMA(G)). For this purpose, Nidec entered into a share purchase and transfer agreement with each of GPM's shareholders.

KUZE MINAMI-KU, KYOTO, Japan (June 1, 2012) – Nidec Corporation completed the acquisition of Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali S.p.A. from HVEASI Holding, B.V. (Netherlands), a privately-owned company affiliated with Patriarch Partners, LLC. As a result, the acquired business, now consisting of the foreign companies listed below, became Nidec’s subsidiary.
