LONDON (July 2, 2014) – The rapid expansion of the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries in Europe is fueling the demand for hygienic, high-quality positive displacement pumps. Peristaltic pumps are of particular interest to such industries, which produce products for consumption. These pumps minimize contamination and resist corrosion by ensuring that fluid flows through flexible tubes or hoses that are placed within pump housing.

ANTWERP, Belgium (July 2, 2014) – ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Belgium announced that it plans to install a new delayed coker unit at its Antwerp refinery to convert heavy, higher sulfur residual oils into transportation fuels products such as marine gasoil and diesel fuel. The new unit will expand the refinery’s ability to help meet energy needs throughout northwest Europe, despite a challenging industry environment.

(May 30, 2014) - Abengoa has been chosen by the Moroccan National Electricity and Drinking Water Office (ONEE) to construct a new deslination plant in Agadir, Morocco. The project will draw on Abengoa's technological capabilities, based on a desalination method using a water ultrafiltration pretreatment that will optimize the advances reverse osmosis process. It will be Morocco's largest capacity desalination plant.

ABU DHABI, UAE (June 24, 2014)—Further building on its long-standing partnerships with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), GE Oil & Gas has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Petroleum Institute University & Research Center (PI) to provide specialized training programs, summer internship opportunities and educational tools for PI students as part of its commitment to promote human capital development and promote knowledge sharing.

HIGHLAND, Ill. (July 1, 2014) – Power management company Eaton is helping give back to the community by providing a $5,000 sponsorship to Make-A-Wish Illinois on behalf of its B-Line business. Not only will the donation be used to help facilitate a local 5K run/walk fundraiser in the southern Illinois region, it will also serve as a large portion of the funds needed to support a wish for a local child battling a life-threatening medical condition.
