BETHLEHEM, Penn. (July 16, 2014) – Robert Bosch LLC and Bosch Rexroth Corporation announced the latest Bosch Community Fund (BCF) grants in support of STEM education—science, technology, engineering and math.

The Bosch Community Fund awarded four grants, totaling $100,000, to three central Pennsylvania educational institutions: Lehigh University, Lehigh Career & Technical Institute and The Pennsylvania State University.

LONDON (July 15, 2014)—An additional 11.7 million barrels per day (mmbd) of crude distillation capacity (CDU) will come online globally between 2014 and 2020, with an annual average of 1.6 mmbd, said research and consulting firm GlobalData.

The company’s latest report* states that with an additional CDU of 3.1 mmbd planned between 2014 and 2020, the Middle East will be the largest contributor to the world’s total capacity increase, accounting for approximately 27 percent.

RALEIGH, N.C. (July 15, 2014) – Advanced Energy has been selected by AEP Ohio, a unit of American Electric Power, to assist in the development of an accredited motor repair pilot program. Advanced Energy will be responsible for identifying and certifying four motor service centers across AEP Ohio’s service territory, demonstrating that the motor service centers are capable of repairing motors without losing efficiency.

HELSINKI (July 11, 2014) – MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has won an order from Bumi Armada Berhad, a Malaysia-based international offshore oilfied services provider, to supply a Pusnes offloading system for a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) conversion project. The Pusnes offloading system will be delivered by March 2015. The order is booked into the second quarter 2014 order intake.
