BUXTON, England (June 25, 2014) – Xylem announced that it is expanding its bank of Godwin brand high head dewatering pumps to cater to increased rental demand for these water removal pumps. Xylem made the announcement at the opening day of the Hillhead 2014 trade show at Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, U.K. Xylem’s range of Godwin and Flygt brand dewatering pumps were on display at the show.

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (June 19, 2014) – Des-Case Corporation announced its recent purchase of the visual oil analysis product line of Houston, Texas-based ESCO, an oil sight glass and level monitor manufacturer, Copaltite distributor, and Dow Corning product distributor. Products acquired include ESCO's popular 3-D BullsEye Viewport, as well as its oil sight glasses, indicators, and oil level monitors.

NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. (June 19, 2014) – The ExOne Company announced the planned opening of a new combined Production Service Center (PSC) and Machine Sales Center in the Lombardy region of Italy on or about Aug. 1. Said Omar, most recently ExOne’s European sales director, will be ExOne Italy’s managing director.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (June 19, 2014) – The Water Environment Federation (WEF) has promoted Pamela Henry to the position of deputy executive director. Having been with WEF for more than 25 years, Henry is a seasoned leader who will oversee a number of key organizational programs including WEFTEC operations and exhibitions, advertising and sponsorships, marketing, communications and creative services, human resources, and facilities management.

HELSINKI (June 18, 2014) – Wärtsilä has received an order to supply a turnkey power plant for Saudi Arabia. The order was placed by Umm Al-Qura Cement Company in May 2014. The 47-megawatt (MW) captive power plant will be located in the mountain desert close to Taif city. The equipment will be fast-track delivered by February 2015, and the project will enter commercial operation by October 2015.
