TORONTO (June 5, 2014) — Armstrong Fluid Technology announced that John Molnar has joined the company as technical sales representative, commercial and engineering. In his new role, he will develop and grow relationships with engineers, contractors and service dealers in the Ontario territory. His main focus will be working with standard and configured building products and design envelope solutions.

HOUSTON (June 3, 2014) – GE announced that it successfully completed its acquisition of Cameron’s Reciprocating Compression division for $550 million. The division provides reciprocating compression equipment and aftermarket parts and services for oil and gas production, gas processing, gas distribution and independent power industries. Cameron’s Reciprocating Compression division has approximately 900 employees and operates from 20 global locations.

MANSFIELD, Ohio (June 3, 2014) – The Gorman-Rupp Company announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, National Pump Company (“NPC”), has completed its purchase of the business of Bayou City Pump, Inc. ("BCP") based in Houston, Texas. During 2013, BCP had approximately $16 million in revenue from sales of its products and services through its Houston, Texas headquarters and its service facility location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The terms of the asset purchase agreement are undisclosed.

LAFAYETTE, La. (June 3, 2014) – Flowchem Technologies celebrated its 10th anniversary by hosting a customer appreciation crawfish boil at its headquarters in Rayne, Louisiana, on May 16.

Attendees included customers, business partners, vendors and other individuals who have contributed to the company’s success throughout the past 10 years.

With more than 200 people in attendance, guests enjoyed crawfish, drinks and music by the Nik-L Beer Band.
