RADOLFZELL, Germany (March 3, 2013) – Colfax Fluid Handling, a business unit of Colfax Corporation, has received an order to deliver five Allweiler propeller pumps for a chemical plant in Saudi Arabia. The pumps are specially designed for use during production of explosive materials and are valued at approximately €900,000.
HOUSTON (March 25, 2013) – GE Oil & Gas has received a $620 million, 22-year contractual service agreement (CSA) to provide a broad range of advanced technology services for QGC’s Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) plant, off the east coast of Australia.
ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands (April 3, 2013) – LyondellBasell announced that Jiangsu Sailboat Petrochemical Co. Ltd. (JSPCL) has selected LyondellBasell’s Lupotech T and Lupotech A process technologies for a new plant scheduled to be built in Lianyungang, China. JSPCL, part of the Jiangsu Shenghong Group; a top 500 Chinese Enterprise, said that the plant will have a total plant capacity of 300 KT per year for the production of low density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA).
BATAVIA, N.Y. (April 4, 2013) – Graham Corporation was awarded five orders totaling $12 million during its fourth quarter which ended March 31, 2013. The projects are expected to ship at various times from the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014 through the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015.
HOUSTON (April 10, 2013) – Wood Group GTS was awarded a $11.2 million contract to re-rate one of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s (LADWP’s) Hitachi hydro turbine generators at the Castaic Power Plant, a pumped storage facility 50 miles north of Los Angeles. This contract will complete the upgrade of the sixth and final turbine generator, undertaken as part of the Castaic Power Plant modernization program.
