FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Sept. 12, 2016)—Franklin Electric Co. Inc. announced the appointment of Jonathan M. Grandon as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of the company. Grandon will be responsible for the company’s legal and human resource functions and will also play an integral role in leading various business development activities.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Jan. 5, 2016) – Franklin Electric Co., Inc., has donated 34 water transfer pumps to the city utilities department at the City of Fort Wayne to assist with future flooding and water transfer needs. The pumps vary in capacities from 60 gpm (gallons per minute) up to 264 gpm and are ideal for high-volume water transfer and dewatering, such as flood water removal, emptying excess ditch water, removing swimming pool water and more.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (August 4, 2014) – Franklin Electric Co., Inc., completed two acquisitions in India. In the first, Franklin Electric acquired 70 percent of the outstanding stock of Pluga Pumps and Motors Private Limited, based in a newly constructed facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Pluga designs, manufactures and distributes groundwater motor and pumping equipment through 11 branch offices located throughout India.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Feb. 19, 2014) – The Board of Directors of Franklin Electric announced that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer R. Scott Trumbull will retire as Chief Executive Officer effective May 2, 2014 and that Gregg C. Sengstack has been appointed to succeed him in that role. Trumbull will remain non-executive chairman of Franklin Electric.

BLUFFTON, Ind. (June 26, 2013) – Following Franklin Electric’s recent acquisition of Cerus Industrial, the company announced plans to rebrand the subsidiary as Franklin Control Systems, effective immediately. Based in Hillsboro, Ore., Franklin Control Systems will lead the company’s efforts in the design and production of electronic drives and controls for water pumping, HVAC and industrial systems.
