BJERRINGBRO, Denmark - In celebration of Grundfos' 75th anniversary, the Poul Due Jensen Foundation (Grundfos Foundation) has expanded its budget for donations from planned 125m DKK (Danish krone) to 200m DKK. The main donation areas remain water, research, and inclusion, but the Foundation will move its attention to the fight against COVID-19 this year.

BJERRINGBRO, Denmark - Grundfos has named Markus Brandstetter as its new chief technology officer (CTO). Brandstetter will take up his new position on Feb. 1, 2020, and will relocate to a home near Bjerringbro in the coming months.

An experienced technology leader and champion of digitalization, Brandstetter brings significant experience from senior roles in large industrial companies.

THAILAND - Grundfos has announced the appointment of Kenth Hvid Nielsen to the role of general manager of Grundfos Thailand (GTH), effective Nov. 1, 2019.

In his new role, Kenth will lead the overall sales operation within the Thailand market for the key business areas: industry, commercial business services, domestic business services, business development and aftermarket service sales.

JAPAN - Pump manufacturer Grundfos announced the appointment of Hideo Shirakawa to the role of area managing director (AMD) of Grundfos East Asia, effective Jan. 1, 2019

Shirakawa will be responsible for leading the company’s business across Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and spearheading opportunities for Grundfos’ development and expansion in East Asia.

SINGAPORE – Pump manufacturer Grundfos announced the appointment of Ki Woong Ahn to the role of Country Manager of Grundfos Singapore, with effect from August 1, 2018.

In his new role, Ki Woong will lead the overall sales operations for the key business areas: Industry, Commercial Building Services, Domestic Building Services, Business Development and Aftermarket Service Sales. Along with Singapore, he will oversee the Export Markets of Cambodia, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
