DUBAI (Aug. 3, 2016) – Xylem Inc. announced that it has signed a $13 million USD contract to supply an integrated wastewater treatment solution for water reuse as part of the Manfouha sewage treatment plant expansion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In partnership with Al Muhaidib Contracting, Xylem’s ICEAS SBR technology will facilitate the efficient and effective treatment of wastewater at the plant, which will be reused for irrigation and agriculture in the region.

CALDWELL, Idaho (June 2, 2016)—Xylem has secured a contract worth $1.9 million from the City of Caldwell in Idaho to add an advanced wastewater filtration system to the city’s existing wastewater treatment facility. The inclusion of tertiary filtration technology will enhance the treatment of wastewater effluent being discharged into the Boise River by removing suspended solids and ensuring that the facility can meet stricter regulations.
BEIJING, China (May 25, 2016) – In 2013, the Beijing Municipal Government launched a three-year plan to expedite the construction of wastewater treatment and water recycling facilities in order to increase reclaimed water supply to 4.13 million cubic meters per day, or 1.1 billion cubic meters annually, in the Beijing region.
