GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Xylem Inc. announced that its ozone equipment has been selected to support the City of Grand Forks in developing a new regional water treatment plant. The facility will provide drinking water for the 57,000 people in North Dakota’s third largest city. Xylem’s ozone treatment solution will ensure the water meets all quality standards, is potable and odor-free.

COLUMBIA, Md. – Xylem is bringing together water industry leaders and utility operators to discuss Modernizing Water Infrastructure on May 17. During the workshop, experts on water, sustainable water management and infrastructure will share insights, best practices, and innovative approaches on optimizing water distribution. All sessions of the live workshop will also be available via webinar.

WARSAW, Poland – Xylem Inc. has opened a new 1,100 square meters commercial facility in Warsaw as part of ongoing investment in Poland. This new plant, which includes office space, a service and maintenance hub and a warehouse, brings Xylem’s total investment in Poland to more than zł67 million. Xylem currently employs almost 350 people at sites in Strzelin and Warsaw.


CALAMBA, Philippines – Xylem Inc., has announced the opening of a new pump rental and service business in Calamba in the province of Laguna, Philippines. The hub will serve the growing demand from the municipal and industrial sectors across the Philippines and Southeast Asia, particularly in flood control, mining and power supply operations. It will also further expand Xylem’s footprint in the region and build on the Company’s current manufacturing and sales operations in Calamba.

RYE BROOK, N.Y. — Xylem Inc. congratulates the national team of India, winners of the Xylem Water Prize 2017, awarded at the 14th annual International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). The theme of this year’s IJSO was “Water and Sustainability” and the competition took place on December 4-11, 2017, in The Netherlands, where more than 300 students aged 15 years or younger from 50 different countries tested their scientific knowledge and skills.
