(July 29, 2015) – Xylem Inc. is playing an important role in the Panama Canal Expansion Program by providing its heavy-duty Godwin dewatering pumps to fill the third set of basin locks on the Pacific Ocean sector with 1.7 billion gallons of water, as part of performance trials for the system prior to its commissioning.
RYE BROOK, N.Y. (July 8, 2015) – Xylem Inc. announced that Kairus Tarapore will join the company as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective July 27, 2015. SINGAPORE (July 1, 2015) – Xylem Inc. has been awarded a contract worth more than $500,000 to supply ultraviolet (UV) disinfection solutions to a major municipal water reclamation facility in Singapore. As a result of the extensive treatment including Xylem’s Wedeco UV disinfection solution, the city’s industrial sector and communities living in the east of the city, will benefit from an additional 228,000 tons (50 million gallons) of reclaimed water per day.
