GRAY, La. – Danos is announced that it has reached a tentative agreement to acquire the assets and business of Shamrock Energy Solutions, a privately held 22-year-old oilfield service company, based out of Houma, Louisiana. The deal is expected to be effective in March, 2019, and will increase the number of Danos employees by nearly 50 percent, from 2,200 to 3,200. The closing is subject to certain remaining contingencies.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Motion Industries, Inc., a distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts and a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (GPC), announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Axis New England and Axis New York ("Axis"), an automation and robotics company based in Danvers, Massachusetts.
