FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Jessie Hinther, sales manager for Franklin Electric’s U.S. Industrial – Central Region, has been elected president of the Submersible Wastewater Pump Association (SWPA), an organization serving the manufacturers of submersible pumps for municipal and industrial wastewater applications; the manufacturers of component parts and accessories for submersible pump lift stations; and companies that provide services to users of those products.
CHICAGO - Since 2001, SWPA has awarded scholarships to students affiliated with member companies who are studying in the field of engineering. In 2010, the scholarship was renamed after longtime executive director Charles Stolberg after he passed away.
CHICAGO - The Submersible Wastewater Pump Association (SWPA) will hold its Annual Meeting on Nov. 13 at the DoubleTree Hilton O’Hare in Chicago. Vanessa Leiby (WWEMA Executive Director) and Industry veteran Tom Decker will present on the state of the water and wastewater Industry from a legislative and consulting engineer’s perspective. SWPA Executive Director Adam Stolberg will present SWPA’s 2020 Industry Outlook Report.
